Dr. Bal Bagwat, the Plastic Surgery Director

Dr. Bal Bagwat, born in New York, trained at Stanford Hospital, and has practiced plastic surgery for over 20 years in Menlo Park. He is Board Certified in Plastic surgery and an ambulatory surgery center inspector in California for the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF). Dr. Bagwat is also an avid collector of art and sculpture and an accomplished architectural designer and developer.

Patient Safety and Experience

Patient safety is our highest concern. Most patients are monitored during surgery by a board-certified anesthesiologist for safety and to optimize the patient experience. Our nursing staff includes experienced RNs with Hospital Intensive Care Unit training. Most patients are discharged to their home after surgery under the care of a responsible adult. Overnight stays can be arranged preoperatively if needed.
