Meet Our Staff

Our team of board-certified plastic surgeons are dedicated to providing exceptional surgical care and service to our patients. Our team includes Dr. John Compoginis, Dr. Juris Bunkis, and Dr. Deborah K. Ekstrom, each with their own unique skills and areas of expertise.

Dr. John Compoginis is a California native and a double board-certified surgeon who has completed both a general surgery residency and a second residency in plastic & reconstructive surgery. He specializes in body contouring, liposuction, mommy makeovers, breast surgery, and fat transfers, especially BBL's.

Dr. Juris Bunkis is an internationally known plastic surgeon and the Medical Director and Founder of Orange County Plastic Surgery. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Bunkis specializes in facial rejuvenation and surgery of the face, nose, eyelids, and brows, as well as cosmetic breast surgery, tummy tucks, liposuction, and body contouring.

Dr. Deborah K. Ekstrom is a board-certified plastic surgeon with a special interest in breast surgery, facial rejuvenation, and body contouring. She works with both Mentor Corporation and McGhan (Allergan) implant companies as an investigator using silicone implants in reconstruction and breast lift patients.
